What's New in Raging Tiger

Raging Tiger: The Second Korean War brings a whole new look and feel to the Armored Task Force series.  It also brings many new unit and map capabilities to allow scenario designers to create tons of new content for Raging Tiger and other, future ATF Engine releases.

Raging Tiger was designed with backwards compatibility in mind.  That means that all of the scenarios you, and the ATF community as a whole made for Armored Task Force will still run as intended in Raging Tiger.  We have also made a commitment to maintain backwards compatibility in all future releases.  So the scenarios and components you build using the Raging Tiger Scenario Builder will run in all future ATF Engine releases.

The reverse, however, is not true.  Scenarios including all of the new features listed here will not run in Armored Task Force.  Keep this in mind when designing maps, databases, and scenarios.

Here is a list of the new features available to Raging Tiger scenario designers.

• Change Settings in the Configuration File

• Lock Units from Input or Make Them Invisible
• Establish 'Events' to Unlock Units or Make them Visible
• Use the 'Vehicle Carrier' Vehicle Capability
• Use the 'Amphibious Vehicle' Vehicle Capability
• Add the 'Water' Attribute to a Terrain Type
• Use the 'Limited Mobility' Vehicle Capability
• Create and Use Campaign Start Pages
• Adding Vehicle Sounds to Vehicles
• Adding Vehicle Help Pictures to Vehicles
• Protect Your Scenario Files
• Add a Dismount Radius Rule

This is only a brief summary of the changes in Raging Tiger.  There are tons of other changes in the game.  Keep an eye out of War in the Falklands and Thunder & Lightning: The Battles of Operation Desert Storm, our next commercial releases, which will add even more features to the ATF Engine.
